As someone who works operations for a plumbing company, one thing is that plumbing companies are what they advertise, a company. There are alot of costs that go into operating a business, especially in california where you can toss a rock in any direction and hit a plumbing truck. The costs to advertise, gas, vehicle maintenance, insurance, business license fees, permit fees, employee wages etc add up drastically. Alot of people think calling out a company will be cheap. it wont, most major companies offer warranties as well and since theyre established wont be going anywhere soon. if you want poor work done, with no warranty and for cheap, call a handyman or a 2 star chuck in a truck.
